Vitamin D and osteoporosis?

A recent study has suggested that those who are low on Vitamin D and suffer from osteoporosis may benefit from supplementation. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin so taking too much is not advisable. However if you have osteoporosis and not doing so great it may be an idea to speak to your doctor about the possibility of supplementing with Vitamin D.

FAME UK becoming a respected contest in the fitness calendar

UK Muscle News:
The first FAME UK was a bit of a joke, way back in 2000. FAME tried to break into the UK and Europe several times, not making much of an impact until recently when a certain Miss Angela Weston took over the promotion of this competition.

Angie has applied her enthusiasm and organisational skills to turn FAME UK totally around and make it a must do competition in the muscle & fitness calendar. 

FAME UK 2009 was a marked improvement and probably the best to date. FAME 2010 was also good, though not as funky in terms of location and possibly organisation. 

One things is for sure, if Angie has her way, the FAME UK competition is here to stay and will get better and better year by year.

Mr Hercules 2010

Scott Horton's Mr Hercules 2010 is on Sunday 25th October. This is a good show with a nice turnout and a qualifier for the UKBFF finals. If you are not doing anything, make your way to the Liquid and Envy in Colchester.

The world's biggest arms

Is Greg Valentino the holder of the world's biggest arms still?

Some dispute this pointing to the known fact that Greg's arms are a combination of weight training and drug/synthol injections. Synthol has been used by quite a few people of late and opinions vary as to its effectiveness as a "muscle builder". The Synthol look is a very artificial and in many respects, "scary" and unnatural look.
